Following up two digital releases, Hheva, hailing from Malta, puts forth his first physical release on WATERPOWER, a first excursion into dark ambient/industrial sounds. Two tracks of dark ambient with light touches of industrial harshness coming through. C33 limited to 33 hand numbered copies in standard norelco case featuring artwork by the artist.

Desolation and solitude are the feelings that moulded the sound of this EP. Within it I have tried to interpret the great sense of melancholy brought by the absurd to the individuals who, courageously enough, attempt to explore its torrid deserts.

The absurd both enlightens us and blinds us. To become aware of one's existence is to also become aware of one's inconsistencies & mortality. We come to realise that neither dying nor living have meaning, and yet, we know they are true, we can observe them, but, they are inexplicable.

"Of whom and of what indeed can I say: 'I know that!' This heart within me I can feel, and I judge that it exists. The world I can touch, and I likewise judge that it exists. There ends all my knowledge, and the rest is construction. For if I try to seize this self of which I feel sure, if I try to define and to summarize it, it is nothing but water slipping through my fingers. I can sketch one by one all the aspects it is able to assume, all those likewise that have been attributed to it, this upbringing, this origin, this ardour or these silences, this nobility or this vileness. But aspects cannot be added up. This very heart which is mine will for ever remain indefinable to me. Between the certainty I have of my existence and the content I try to give to that assurance, the gap will never be filled. For ever I shall be a stranger to myself" - The Myth Of Sisyphus, Albert Camus.
